Amazon Prime Subscription: Introductory Offer of Rs. 499 ends October 30
Amazon introduced its prime delivery service in India last year in July for an introductory offer of Rs. 499. Earlier this month, the company said that it will expand the subscription fee for its ‘Prime’ service to Rs. 999 in the country in coming days. Today the company has announced that the offer will end on 30th October 2017 after that the program will move to the full price of Rs. 999 a year.
However, Amazon doesn’t allow to renew your membership before expiry. Amazon says that you will be informed through email or SMS and you can renew only after expiry.
In India, Prime members get unlimited free 1-day and 2- day delivery service, free standard delivery without minimum purchase, exclusive deals on bestselling products. The Prime membership also offers access to Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service without any additional cost.
Amazon already unveiled that it will launch Amazon Prime Music in India soon that will let you enjoy ad-free and on-demand music across devices, at no additional cost. It will be available as an exclusive preview on Echo first before rolling out to other devices.
